How Quasi Group collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Quasi Group respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and our other enquiry channels, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have. Please read it together with our Terms of Use.

This website, quasigroupgh.org, is operated by Quasi Group Limited (“Quasi Group”, “we”, “us” or “our”), a diversified Ghanaian business group headquartered at Akwadum Roundabout off Oyoko Road, Koforidua, Ghana (Digital Address E7-094-6883).

The Group’s businesses include Quasi Construction Works, Quasi Blockfactory, Quasi Distribution Agency, Quasi Pharmacy and ZoomTiger Agro Farms. Quasi Group is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, which we handle in line with Ghana’s Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

Information you give us. We collect the information you choose to provide when you:

  • send an enquiry through our contact form: your full name, email address and phone number, and, if you choose to add them, your company name, enquiry type, subject and message;
  • sign up for our newsletter: your name and email address;
  • apply for a job we advertise: the CV, cover letter and contact details you send us by email;
  • call us, message us on WhatsApp, email us or visit one of our offices: the details you share, such as your name, contact details, delivery location and the products or services you need.

Please do not send us sensitive personal information, such as health or bank account details, through the website.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the website, our hosting and security systems record technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, the date and time of your visit and the page that referred you. This is standard for websites and helps us keep the site secure and working properly.

We do not currently use analytics or advertising tracking tools on this website.

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your enquiries and prepare quotations for products and services;
  • supply products, arrange deliveries and carry out the construction and other services you request;
  • manage our relationships with customers, suppliers and partners;
  • send you our newsletter and updates, where you have asked to receive them;
  • consider job applications and contact applicants;
  • operate, maintain and improve the website, and protect it against spam, fraud and security threats;
  • comply with our legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

We will not use your information for a purpose unrelated to the reason you gave it to us without telling you first.

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), we process personal information only where we have a lawful reason to do so. Depending on the situation, this will be because:

  • you have given your consent, for example when you subscribe to our newsletter;
  • it is needed to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract with you, or to perform that contract;
  • we must comply with a legal obligation; or
  • it is necessary for our legitimate interests in running and protecting our business and website, and those interests are not outweighed by your rights.

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. The public pages of this website do not set cookies of their own for visitors. Cookies are used only when authorised staff sign in to manage the website.

Some features rely on services provided by other companies:

  • Google Fonts. Our typefaces are loaded from Google’s servers, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page loads.
  • Google Maps. The map on our Contact page is provided by Google. When it loads, Google may set cookies and collect information about how you use the map.

These providers handle information under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The website will still work, although an embedded map may not display.

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where necessary:

  • Within Quasi Group. Your enquiry may be passed to the Group business best placed to help, for example Quasi Blockfactory for a block order or Quasi Construction Works for a building project.
  • Service providers. Companies that host and secure this website and deliver our email, acting on our instructions. These include our web host, Hostinger, and our website security provider, Wordfence.
  • Services you choose to use. If you follow a link to our Facebook page or message us on WhatsApp, your use of those services is governed by Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.
  • Legal and safety reasons. Where the law requires it, or where it is necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Quasi Group, our customers or others.

Some of our service providers, including our hosting, email and Google services, may store or process information on servers outside Ghana. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information stays protected in line with this policy.

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to respond to you, to serve you as a customer and to meet legal, accounting and reporting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. In particular:

  • newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe;
  • job applications are kept for as long as needed to complete the recruitment process, unless you agree to us keeping them for future vacancies;
  • technical and security logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. The website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection and protected by a security firewall and malware scanning, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it.

No method of sending or storing information over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We will act promptly if we become aware of a problem.

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843), you have the right to:

  • ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy of it;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date;
  • ask us to delete or destroy information we no longer have a lawful reason to keep;
  • object to our use of your information, including for direct marketing;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on your request. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Commission of Ghana.

We send our newsletter only to people who have signed up for it. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any newsletter email or by contacting us. We will then stop sending you marketing messages, although we may still contact you about an enquiry or order you have with us.

This website links to other websites and services, including Facebook, WhatsApp and Google Maps. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites, so please read their privacy policies before sharing information with them.

This website is intended for customers, business partners and job applicants and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our website, our services or the law. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated shown at the top.
